Connection and Regulation Mini-Workshop Series

In a study recently performed by the Society for Human Resources Management, a staggering 77% of employees report feeling burned out in their current jobs, and 91% said unmanageable stress or frustration is directly impacting the quality of their work. Nearly half of employees say they feel emotionally drained by their job.
 
It is critical to support well-being and mental health within the structure of any workplace because burnout doesn’t just impact the employee; it affects the entire company. This workshop series is designed to fit into the busy schedule of any organization or corporation. By supplying your staff with the tools needed to improve their mental health and well-being, you can increase job satisfaction, reduce absenteeism, and display a level a care and concern that helps to ensure a harmonious and safe work environment.
 
Our Connection and Regulation Mini-Series consists of 2 sessions that provide an introduction to our core concepts that support individual and collective health and to easy-to-implement regulation practices. They are also both available as individual workshops, although they are most impactful when delivered together.

SESSIONS:

Health & Human Nature

This session introduces participants to La Maida Project’s well-being framework and core concepts that support both individual and collective health. In this session, we emphasize the role of connection, explore our unique personal needs, and consider how we can show up for ourselves and participate in supportive connections with others. Participants are also guided through some initial self-regulation tools that can reduce stress and support mental and emotional well-being.

Stress & Regulation

This session is a practical, experience-based session where participants learn and apply a wide variety of regulation tools that reduce stress and combat burnout. The workshop introduces simple, practical tools that can be used immediately to manage stress in daily life, while offering space for reflection and awareness of how stress shows up in the body. This session is designed to boost morale and leave teams feeling centered, connected, and recharged.

Discovery and customization, handouts and resources, and a post-session evaluation.
